Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater: An Unforgettable Safari Experience

Serengeti National Park:

The Serengeti is one of the most iconic safari destinations in Tanzania and the world. Ngorongoro Crater:

The Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is often referred to as "Africa’s Eden." It is the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera, home to a rich ecosystem of wildlife. The crater floor is filled with diverse wildlife including elephants, lions, zebras, flamingos, and the critically endangered black rhino. It's one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in Africa.

ITINERARY: SERENGETI & NGORONGORO CRATER

Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park

• Morning:
  • Pick up from Arusha and drive towards Serengeti National Park (approximately 6-7 hours).
• Afternoon:
  • Arrive in Serengeti, check-in to lodge Acacia Collections.
  • Game drive through Serengeti's vast plains, spotting the Big Five and other wildlife.
• Evening:
  • Sunset game drive to observe wildlife in the soft evening light.
  • Overnight stay at the lodge Acacia Collections.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

• Morning:
  • Early morning game drive to witness predators like lions and cheetahs, and the beauty of Serengeti’s sunrise.
• Afternoon:
  • Return to accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater & Return to Arusha

• Morning:
  • Breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro Crater (approximately 3-4 hours).
  • Descend into the crater to explore its diverse ecosystem.
• Afternoon:
  • Picnic lunch inside the crater.
  • Continue the game drive to observe animals like elephants, lions, flamingos, and rhinos.
• Evening:
  • Drive back to Arusha, arriving by evening to conclude your safari adventure.
